"Carlos Capacho has forged an impressive musical career as a soloist on Venezuelan cuatro. His command of the cuatro and his impeccable technique have earned him the recognition of important musicians internationally and led him to explore various scenarios within and outside Venezuela. In July 2004 at 15 years old, he won first place in the First International Venezuelan Cuatro Contest in which 600 players competed. In 2012, Capacho received a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music with a focus on jazz composition and jazz performance. His music has allowed him to perform on different stages worldwide in countries like Mexico, Cuba, Cameroon, Gabon, and Trinidad and Tobago, among many others. He has performed with nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Aldemaro Romero, Simón Díaz, María Teresa Chacín , Cheo Hurtado, and Paquito D’Rivera, to name just a few."
