Fiesta en la Plaza returns to Boston's City Hall Plaza and Pavilion for its third year as part of Latin Heritage Month. This celebration honors Latin American roots and highlights the artistic diversity that defines our communities. It serves as a cultural journey that brings people together and, now more than ever, celebrates their resilience and creativity. We gather in this central city plaza, reminiscent of the plazas in our hometowns where we meet, share, celebrate traditions, and commemorate the milestones that shape our collective history.
On Sunday, October 12, the Cine Fiesta will be dedicated to salsa and diversity. The event will begin with a special screening of the Colombian documentary "Género: Salsa," followed by a discussion featuring guest artists at the Civic Pavilion in City Hall. The celebration will conclude with a salsa party that is open to the public.
All the events are FREE. This program is produced by Ágora Cultural Architects with the support of the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture of the City of Boston.
